I have created a simple guide that can help you to restore your digestive health. If you have pain, bloating, acid An acid reflux diet! Gerd/Acid Reflux Dietreflux, ulcers, leaky gut, constipation and want to lose some weight than this system is what you need. Most of us eat foods that are acid in nature and our body release digestive enzymes that can be both alkaline and acid. But what happens is that most of these enzymes will not work properly when they are released at the same time, and that is why people often feel heartburn, bloating, gas and painful cramps. This guide will give you a chance to eat everything and properly combine foods that are easy to digest. You can still eat your favorite foods, but you need to know how and when you can eat them. Proper food combination is the best way to free yourself from any kind of stomach issues. You will never need to take any drugs like Nexium, Pepto-Bismol, Zantac, Pepcid, Mylanta, Rolaids, Maalox, Gaviscon, or any other prescription and over the counter stomach medications. If you try this diet than I promise to you that you will have more energy no acid reflux, gas, flatulence, belching, sore throat, and constipation. Also, depends on your current weight you can lose from 1 to 9 pounds (0.5- 4 kg). The most important thing is that you will never be hungry or food deprived because you are going to combine awesome healthy foods.

I have also used supplements along with this diet. But you may not need them because my case was severe so I decided to give a boost. I know that this diet works extremely good on its own. I will list all products that I have used at the end of the diet.

Day 1

Breakfast Day 1 (Choose 1 option and 1 beverage only):

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Oatmeal (you can use maple syrup or cinnamon). No milk or any dairy products
  • Any fresh fruit(apple, pear, banana)
    • If your choice is fresh fruit than for beverage you are not allowed to have anything other than water.

Beverage Day 1

  • Licorice tea is my favorite for healing your stomach. Read about
  • Chamomile tea
  • No fruit juice or coffee
  • Green tea with milk

Snack Day 1

  • Wait three hours before you start your snack
  • Raw vegetables or nuts of your choice
  • Salad with dressing
  • Fruit of your choice

Lunch Day 1

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets and calcium tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Whole grain bread sandwich with tomato, mayonnaise, mustard, lettuce.
  • Vegan can eat the same sandwich without mayonnaise!
  • Tuna, seafood or chicken without bread combined with green salad dressing of your choice
  • Beverage after 30 minutes:
    • Water
    • Any Tea
    • Vegetable juice
    • Milk: rice milk, almond milk or soy milk

After lunch Snack

  • Fresh fruit
  • Raw Carrots or vegetables
  • Raw nuts of your choice I prefer almonds and walnuts

Dinner Day 1

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets and calcium tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Entrée: Chicken, Beef or Fish without bread
  • Vegan Entree: Pasta of your choice
  • Side Dish: Steamed/boiled broccoli. Add olive oil, minced garlic and organic butter(don’t use any kind of margarine). You can sprinkle Parmesan cheese.
  • Salad: Salad of your choice (any kind of lettuce and whatever raw vegetables)
  • Beverage: Tea or water

Day 2

Breakfast Day 2 (Only one option and beverage):

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets and calcium tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Any fresh fruit(apple, pear, banana)
    • If your choice is fresh fruit than for beverage you are not allowed to have anything other than water.
  • Whole wheat/grain or oat bran toast with organic butter

Beverage Day 2:

  • Licorice tea is my favorite for healing your stomach
  • Chamomile tea
  • No fruit juice or coffee
  • Green tea with milk

 

Snack Day 2

  • Wait three hours before you start your snack
  • Raw vegetables or nuts of your choice
  • Any kind of green salad with dressing
  • Fruit of your choice

Lunch Day 2

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets and calcium tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Minestrone soup without meat
  • Beverage after 30 minutes:
    • Water
    • Any Tea
    • Vegetable juice
    • Milk: rice milk, almond milk or soy milk

After lunch Snack Day 2

  • Fresh fruit
  • Raw Carrots or vegetables
  • Raw nuts of your choice I prefer almonds and walnuts

Dinner Day 2

  • Entrée: Pasta of your choice and always use red sauce and garlic
  • Side Dish: Bread with butter
  • Salad: Cesar Salad or Tossed Salad
  • Beverage: Tea or water

Day 3

Breakfast Day 3 (Only one option and beverage):

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets and calcium tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Any fresh fruit(apple, pear, banana)
    • If your choice is fresh fruit than for beverage you are not allowed to have anything other than water.
  • Buttermilk pancakes
  • Vegan Buttermilk Pancakes recipe: ( mix 2 cups all-purpose flour,  2 teaspoons baking powder half teaspoon baking soda pinch of teaspoon salt, 2 tablespoon sugar, one cup fresh or frozen blueberries, 2 cups of  soy milk, two tablespoons corn starch, ¼ cup water, 2 tablespoon vegetable oil)

 

Beverage Day 3

Wait 30-50 minutes before you start with beverage

  • If you had fresh fruit then only water is allowed
  • Licorice tea is my favorite for healing your stomach
  • Chamomile tea
  • No fruit juice or coffee
  • Green tea with milk

 

Snack Day 3

  • Wait three hours before you start your snack
  • Raw vegetables or nuts of your choice
  • Any kind of green salad with dressing
  • Fruit of your choice

Wait three hours before you start your lunch.

Lunch Day 3

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets and calcium tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Large green salad no bread
  • Greek salad no bread

After lunch Snack Day 3

  • Fresh fruit
  • Raw Carrots or vegetables
  • Raw nuts of your choice I prefer almonds and walnuts

Dinner Day 3

Wait at least for 3 hours before you start your dinner

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets and calcium tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Entrée: Chicken or fish
  • Side Dish: Steamed/boiled green beans with butter, vegans don’t use butter
  • Salad: Spinach Salad or Tossed Salad
  • Beverage: Tea or water

Finally Day 4!!

Breakfast Day 4 (Only one option and beverage):

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets and calcium tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Any fresh fruit(apple, pear, banana)
    • If your choice is fresh fruit than for beverage you are not allowed to have anything other than water.
  • Corn muffins

 

Beverage Day 4:

Wait 30-50 minutes before you start with beverage

  • If you had fresh fruit then only water is allowed
  • Licorice tea is my favorite for healing your stomach
  • Chamomile tea
  • No fruit juice or coffee
  • Green tea with milk

 

Snack Day 4

Wait three hours before you start your snack

  • Raw vegetables or nuts of your choice
  • Any kind of green salad with dressing
  • Fruit of your choice

Lunch Day 4

Wait three hours before you start your lunch.

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets and calcium tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Avocado sandwich with lettuce or cucumber and garlic. Use whole grain bread
  • Any burger of your choice no bread
  • Salad of your choice

After lunch Snack Day 4

  • Fresh fruit
  • Raw Carrots or vegetables
  • Raw nuts of your choice I prefer almonds and walnuts

Dinner Day 4

Wait at least for 3 hours before you start your dinner

Optional Supplements: Drink One teaspoon of slippery elm mixed in one glass of water. Take or chew DGL licorice tablets and calcium tablets 15 minutes before your breakfast.

  • Side Dish: Steamed/Boiled Broccoli with butter and garlic
